Attire for Multicultural preview?

I’m going to be attending the Multicultural and Diversity Scholars Preview this weekend and I was wondering about what to pack. On the e-mail confirmation it says to dress casually, but does that mean jeans + a t-shirt or a polo shirt and khaki’s? Is there any part of the weekend where I should look semiformal?

well, there's a dance on Monday night so I guess that should be semiformal?

nappy headedness?

oops, was i offensive?

anyways, ask yourself, are you more comfortable being overdressed or underdressed? if you're more comfortable underdressed, go with the jeans and t-shirt. if you're more comfortable overdressed.... well.... you'll know what to wear.

Who gives a ****? You're already in.

Nevertheless, you can't go wrong with a pair of nice jeans and an untucked dress shirt.

i would just go in jeans and a t shirt!!!!!!!!!11111111
for real

baggy pants and XXXXL shirts

Uhhh... the only time I've worn baggy urban clothes was for my Halloween costume this year. I'm from California, so I'm kinda into the whole damaged vintage look (A&F, Gap, Hollister, etc.) Would these kinds of clothes be appropriate?

I think so. I'd bring some more upscale stuff, but I doubt everyone is going to be rolling around in khaki's.

A brioni suit of course

I'd recommend a nice plaid kilt--guaranteed to get you noticed.

I'm from California, as well!
I'm scared of freezing so I'm bringing everything I have that's warm, haha.

loincloths

human skin

beans and cornbread

stunna shades

this forum is not healthy for me

I'm not sure if I should laugh or feel offended. Should I wear a noose around my neck as well?

That was racist and I want you to take it back, Alston

Well I started this thread with a serious and legitimate question and people are telling me to bring nappy hair, corn bread and beans, and stunna shades. Is this kind of "humor" prevalent on campus? I certainly hope not because Penn is my top choice school right now.

This humor is only prevalent among people with senses of humor.

I'm hispanic and let me tell you, nobody gets away scot free.
