<p>I am switching majors to Psychology. If I have taken MAC 2233, does that satisfy the math requirement or do I still need to take MAC 1147?</p>

<p>In the catalog, under requirements for psychology majors, it says Psychology majors must take MAC 1147 or higher. It would seem MAC 2233 would be higher, but I'm not sure. </p>

<p>I was looking for some clarification. Any help is appreciated.</p>

<p>I am not a psych major, but I can tell you that I am 99% sure you are correct. MAC2233 is higher level and thus proves your knowledge of MAC1147. If you want to make sure, I am sure emailing an adviser would be a quick and easy to to get clarification.</p>
