it's on stewart street which is like 2 miles from SMC main campus. It's proly easier to find parking down there.

Jimenez and Taka are probably the easiest teachers for math 8...

All you SMCers are academic cop-outs.

You guys are more strategists than learners.

Its quite disconcerting to see so many of you get into UCLA using stupid strategies like these.

I hope all of you get denied. Peace easy you cop-outs.

HAHAHA. Yeah ok! hahahah

What is a cop-out?

I'm beginning to think that IwannaIvy is just one big joke.

If anyone is taking biology 21 with gushanski and wants to drop, i will paypal them $50 if that person gives me his or her seat.

I have a similar offer. I will Paypal (or pay cash on campus) $30 to anyone who wants to drop and give me their spot for Professsor Murray's Math 2 class in the Winter.

This sort of stuff has got to be against some sort of academic policy. Horrible.

I am not sure which is worse, these offers or your considering Jews as a separate ethnicity:

1. Any group that does not even have a box on applications (like rare tribes. eskimos or gypsies like me!)
2. Hispanics
3. Pacific Islanders and the like
4. Blacks (they get bumped down because of OJ!)
5. Jews

you don't even know if the policy exists. assuming = even more horrible.

My apologies, I should qualified my statement - though I thought context would be sufficient.

Jews are not 'represented' in college admissions.

In the past, Jews were severely discriminated against. After WWII, this began to change (whatever remnants still remain is debatable). It is argued that asians are suffering the same peril today.

anyways! how much is a SMC parking permit? And what is it about no alarms in the parking structure?

Thank you for that contribution.

"whatever remnants still remain is debatable"

You're welcome.

Yes! Especially since... empirical evidence runs contrary to that claim.

"A more recent example of the hypocrisy and chutzpah related to the selective enforcement of the 1964 Civil Rights Act occurred in 1999. Some Jews at Princeton complained that the university was unfair in its admission policies because Jews constituted a mere 10 percent of the incoming freshmen class, a decline from 16 percent in 1985. Jews compose just above 2 percent of the general population in America. Ne ver theless, some Jews asserted that Prince ton discriminated against them when that university was compared to other Ivy League institutions like Harvard, where Jews were 21 percent of the freshmen, or at Yale, 29 percent. Jews compose 25 percent of the freshmen class at Stan ford and other elite universities. Some Jews were so disturbed that they were only 10 percent at Princeton that they claimed discrimination..."

I did not say the claim was entirely valid; I merely said that the debate was one that is present. Looks like it is among many Jewish students today -- especially with things like affirmative action, saving space for athletes, and other non-academic factors.

60 for Spring, 35 for winter. DOn't ask about parking, it's a nighmare. The last thing u should think about are car alarms. Sometimes I'd spend 1:00 inside the parking lot and not find a spot. Best thing is to either have a class at 8am or 6:30 Pm. The parking is just awful.

There are free off campus parking lots for free and free shuttles, i never used them but they exist.

I manage b/c i have an early class. But when i had 9, 10:00, 11 AM classes, i would often be late b/c I'd spend like an hour looking for parking. Very frustrating.

I then found out, there are no permits streets approximatly 10-15 mins walking distance. Which i used when i had 9,l0,11 am classes.
