If selected (after interviews) as a recipient of either scholarship, will USC force you to make a binding decision about whether to attend before April 1st when most people hear back from other colleges or will it be no different than regular acceptance to any other school?

I believe it is non-binding. You don't have to attend USC if you get the scholarship.

It's definitely non-binding. If you do decide to come, you notify them that you will attend by May 1st, Statement of Intent to Register Day.

i don't think you get an official notice of receiving a scholarship until april 2 anyways, which is when you'll have heard from most everywhere else.
