i got my decision today on WA however it said i was accepted so im unsure of what arriving in the mail may mean..good luck

Where does the link show up?

UMich doesn't send free t-shirts, UMich-Dearborn sends free t-shirts.

When you log in to WA (New&Prospective Students), there should be 2 links: "View Application Data" and "View Credentials." A third link, "View Decision," will appear.

"Congratulations! We are delighted to inform you that have been accepted as a student at the University of Michigan."

I'm an English major, and I couldn't help but notice the fragment in this sentence.

bokchoi, did you see that on wolverineaccess? did you EVER see a 'your decision will come in the mail' kind of thing when you clicked on the view decision link?

Current School: Drexel University
GPA: 3.91
Major: Biomedical Engineering

Accepted 4/11

hey Layla121986, how did you find out that you were accepted? Did they ask for your course descriptions/syllabi?

I was actually sent an e-mail about my financial aid status, which I found odd since I hadn't even been accepted yet. After some searching on the Wolverine website, I found my Acceptance Letter. I did not have to send course descriptions nor syllabi.

When did you submit the application? Were you asked to/did you submit any extra material? And was the acceptance link on the wolverine access site? Congrats again!

Oh, and one more question, are you a sophmore transfer or junior transfer? Thanks

I'm a Sophomore transfer.

I submitted the application 10 minutes before it was due, and I was not asked to submit anything extra. I was accepted into Michigan out of HS, but I chose not to go. The acceptance link was on the Wolverine Access site under "Track Application Status". And thanks :)

Yes, this was on WA, under "New & Prospective Student Business" => "Application Status." And no, I never saw "'Your decision will come in the mail"...but I hadn't checked in a few days before I found out, so there might have been something like that. And for EEguy, I don't know if you're addressing Layla or me, but I submitted my application on the 1st of March (they received everything on the 3rd of March, though), and I found out on the 6th of April.

Thanks both for your replies. I applied for electrical engineering major and sent in the application in mid-January; I was asked to send in a bunch of my course descriptions and sylabi in March, and after that I haven't heard since... I am not sure if I should be worried now

Oh, also on the wolverine access site, after I log in and click on the "view application data" link, it says somewhere that I have no financial aid interest though I had submitted the FAFSA and CSS profile things; is this the case with your guys?

Yeah, I have nothing displayed under financial aid. I submitted the FAFSA documents, too.

did you accepted transfer students get your financial aid award packages yet?

yea, haha what a joke

how much did you get?

premierraw, your FAFSA was over 30K, so I don't know what the joke package was (probably just a government loan), but the government expected you to pay the entire cost of attendance basically, so you didn't really qualify for aid like the kids whose EFC is below 10K
