I thought Georgia required everything, but I see Alabama wants a TB skin test? Am I reading these forms correctly?

Yes, you are. My son transferred to Auburn last year and I seem to remember he had to go to the clinic at his first school to get a TB test.

D had to have one of these administered last year (to volunteer at a care center) will she have to do it again? (ie. is this the sort of test that requires a yearly check?)

The TB test has to be administered within 6 months of the first day of class your student is enrolled in. IN ADDITION, IT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE THIS DONE BEFORE CAMP WAR EAGLE FOR REGISTRATION. They WILL let you sign a waiver at CWE if it the medical form has not been turned in, but if it is NOT done within a month following registration, YOUR STUDENT’S SCHEDULE WILL BE DROPPED. Yeah, they take it pretty seriously!

Here is the link to the form at the AU Medical Clinic website, http://www.auburn.edu/au_medical/med_info.pdf
I faxed my daughter’s form to them last year (and then followed it up with a call to make sure they had it). In addition, it will show on your student’s tiger-i account as to whether it has been received (as it is considered a hold on their account for registration purposes). I think this is a one-time deal. Once they are in, they don’t have to do it again on a yearly basis, etc.
