Auburn University Early Action for Fall 2022 Admission

Thank you for your reply. I guess we might have to wait until January…

I’d email the admissions. They were fast to respond to me and it doesn’t hurt to show interest. Then you’ll know for sure.

My daughter thinks emailing about the release date would make her sounds too needy, lol. So since she doesn’t want to email the AO, we’ll just tweetle our thumbs and wait. Thank you for your reply.

My son and I just visited Auburn this week for the second time, this time for a real campus tour (we did a self tour during Covid restricted time - May 2020), a Business department tour, and two dorm tours. Overall both of us were very impressed with the friendly people we met, students giving the tours, information provided, campus pride, clean and updated grounds and facilities, walkability and organization of the campus, and the town of Auburn. Auburn is a great fit and has become a clear favorite and top choice!

so if we are expecting a decision by 11/15 (everything was received by 10/15), will it be with an acceptance or rejection, or if it’s NOT an acceptance, will there simply be no status update change and we continue to wait?

You will receive a decision of admit, deny or deferred to regular decision. Good luck and War Eagle!

I would still encourage her to email. Admissions @AU are very professional and responsive. 2 days for documents, they should be able to consider her for 10/15. Good Luck!

Does anyone know if the November acceptance letters from Auburn go out all at the same time or will prospective students get notification at various time beginning mid November?

I think they all go out at the same time based on replies to this thread, but you can always email or call your admissions counselor to ask and it will also show your demonstrated interest in the school. Good luck!

Does anyone know when in November the Oct 15 Early Action decisions will be released?

The next round of admissions is scheduled to be released Mid-November. Here is the link and a photo from the Auburn website.

Curious as we wait to hear on mid-Nov decisions. My student went in test optional but has high gpa and good volunteering and involvement activities. Anyone who has received EA so far-did your student go in test optional?

My son was admitted and submitted test scores, but they were within their normal range of accepted scores.

Those who have heard, curious what day of the week and what time? I know some schools are specific about notification days and times…

Wednesday, October 13th was when my son got the acceptance email.

Thank you, KleinCajun. Do you happen to recall if was during the day? So ready for this to be over- my daughter is anxious

 Ok, the email came at 4:27 PM. I get the anxiety while waiting. It’s brutal, isn’t it? Best wishes and good luck!

You’re awesome- thank you!

Does Auburn ever defer applicants to regular decision or just admit/deny?
