Can anyone give me the scoop?

Very small school in a small town. Very good pre-med record. Overall a good education. Do visit.

Good looking school with happy kids. Great regional rep. As Bandit said, excellent pre -med. 90% Texans. Hey, they are the Kangaroos-gotta love that!

How about for Physics and Asian Studies? She would be coming for California.

i went to that school for dance camp 2 years ago, hated it so much arg the OK TX border is so unbearably hot.

It doesn't have an Asian Studies program.

The OK Tx border land may be hot, but Lake Texhoma (can you guess where it is?) is close. Lots of water sports and very pretty. Sherman is also close to Dallas.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the college.

Sherman is over an hour away from Dallas, and truly is a small town. That said, the school is excellent and the students are quite happy with the experience at Austin College.

i actually visited last summer.

sherman is small, but has tons of radio stations. their mascot is the kangaroo. decent facilities, friendly students. can't drive through campus, so cars aren't very popular. wide array of food options. i think most of the dorms are hall-style. greek life is present, but its not overwhelming. the theater is... not aesthetically pleasing (orange chairs, 70s upholstery). their athletic facilities are nice.

hope that helps!

Not far to Denton which has two major universities and some night life.
