according to that website all i need is a 1270 on my SATs for automatic admission????

im ranked in the 4th quarter in my class, and my gpa is 2.2

But basically all i need is a 1270 and im automatically in??? even if i have low gpa??

ya, a lot of public tx schools have a lot of automatic admission practices

A&M has a similar thing

Yes, that is true. They are saying that your 1270 ensures that you will be able to do the work so they will admit you automatically.

Yea it's pretty nice, gives you a second chance. =D

Just remember the SAT is a combination of math + verbal only.

A 1270 is very hard to get, though. It represents (THIS IS VERY APPROXIMATE) about the top 5-10% of SAT scores.

You need to take into account, also, that your high school GPA will be very indicative of your college GPA, unless you get your act together. There's no sense in a smart guy getting over 1270 on the SAT (M/V) with a 2.2 GPA.
