Question about A&M acceptance.

I'm a little confused about how the automatic acceptance works.

I'm in the top 10% [13/583]
I go to a recognized school.

so that makes me eligible for the "Top 10% Admits"

but, my SAT score is 1880, [680M, 540R, 640W]

my question is can I automatically get accepted if i meet the "Top 10% Admits" requirements with the low SAT score?

another question.
what does A&M mean by recognized?
like once? or twice? what year?

and yes, im a little paranoided. lol

yes
(ten char)

You will be automatically accepted. Is your school a public school? I don't know what they mean by recognized, but if it's a public school you definitely qualify. Did you apply to A&M already? Since the deadline was Feb. 1st I am assuming you did.

no, im only a junior

If you go to a public school in Texas and are top 10%, you should get in. However, if you're worried about it, I recommend retaking the SAT and/or the ACT. You never know until you try what you can do.
If you have decent grades, decent SAT (like you do) and are top 10%, you should get in without a problem. (But I don't know the official stats, so I can't promise anything.)
Best of luck to you! Thanks and gig 'em!
