@TadGhostal That is awesome! Congratulations! Unfortunately, I am still waiting… They told me that as an OOS applicant, they are making sure that there is enough room and all that stuff. Hopefully this will all be over with soon. Do you mind sharing what your stats were? I am a Psychology major applicant as well, except I am OOS. My GPA is 3.63, but I have gotten an A in every Psychology course I have ever taken, including Intro to Psych Part 1, Intro to Psych Part 2, Bio-Psychology/Behavioral-Neuroscience, Abnormal Psych, and a Psychology Seminar course where I got to gain research experience and help my professor with a research project he was working on all term. The only required course I need to complete is Research Methods, and they expect most people to take it there. So I am good from that perspective. I honestly hope that is enough to get in.
Well, my GPA is 3.64, and I also got an A in all my Psych classes. I also have a W in one class, as well as a hardship withdrawal for one quarter (medical reasons), so I wasn’t too hopeful. I did work very hard on my essay, and I am an older student - early 40s - though I’m not sure if that made a difference. But I didn’t take anything like the seminar course you took, so it sounds like you have an edge on me. I suspect you have a very good chance, when I compare our stats! I am kind of in shock.
I am listed as pre-sciences, because I haven’t yet taken Physiological Psych.
I hope you get an acceptance very soon. I know how emotional this whole process is.
Well, after nearly six months of waiting, the first word to jump out at me upon the application page was “regret.” Eh bien. It was a long shot for me anyway (I’m out-of-state military with five school transcripts applying for architecture with more than 90 credits, none of which are related to architecture.) Depending on what USF says, I may end up moving to Seattle anyway and taking the non-matriculated courses I need to actually apply to the architecture department. Still a letdown. Better luck to everyone else still waiting.
For anyone who’s still waiting, my transcript changed on the afternoon of August 1, and I received the big envelope in the mail yesterday, August 3. The letter inside is dated August 2. I already live in Seattle.
Congrats to everyone who got in! It’s been quite the wait! Good luck in the fall - maybe we run into each other at some point!
Not sure what to do,
I have been accepted to UWB CS department and UWS as a PREscience. I am in dilemma of which to choose. I have already made all my arrangements at UWS (accepted, job near UWS, registered classes and my home is close to UWS) but UWB was just very recent (infact I have just we calling the advises to see whether I can differ incase I do not get in UWS CS in the Spring, I fall back to UWB CS). I haven’t been able to make a firm decision though and thought to share because many people maybe experiencing the same situation.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks all for your time
Can you tell us what courses you’ve taken so far (with GPAs), and what courses you are gonna take at UWS.
Based on these courses, we could try to predict your chance of reapplying again.

For the winter; Since I will have over 105 credits, UWS advisor stated that she may let me take CS major only classes, so I am not sure.
Thanks.
Well, that’s hard because I know they do want to see your Math308’s grade but you cant.
Ok, Thanks for your input.
Hey guys! I have a question pertaining to your unofficial transcripts. Have they loaded with all of the credits you’ve received elsewhere? Mine loaded with most of the courses I’ve completed but for the state school I attended it has my GPA but no credits listed. Is it possible they’re still evaluating it?
No, my unofficial does not have all of the credits I earned as well. I have over 90 transferable credits yet only 70 load on the unofficial transcript. I’m not sure why either. I thought I would ask an advisor at the advising and orentation appointment.
Your unofficial transcripts do not load until after you’ve attended your A&O session.
Actually, mine updated today and it shows 90 credits now. So I guess they do review it first and keep updating it to show more credits as time goes by.
