Average CC'er thread

Hereee! Lol. Finally, people who aren’t perfect. o.e

Screwed up freshman year. HUGE screw up. I’m talking C’s and B’s. O.O

Probably a 3.6-3.7 gpa now.

No idea about the SAT’s/ACT’s.

EC’s- absolute crap. ): Just STEP, Science, Robotics… Marching band-treasurer.

2 honors and 1 AP. (out of a possible 2 honors and 2 AP’s)

I hate being average. :/

This reminds me slightly of the Jewish “B” student thread in the parents forum, which i never understood.

Dear God I’m so happy to find other average CC’ers like me! :D

1900 SAT, 197 PSAT, 34 ACT (I come from the Midwest = ACT dominant area)
Only took 1 AP test (Chem - 3) since my school doesn’t technically offer APs. All of our courses are college-level or actual college courses.
I can’t do many extracurricular activities due to the structure of my high school, but I did a few at my old high school and I am now on the rowing team at my current school.

You “average” people need to hush up lol. 2.59 gpa(messed up freshman and sophomore years) no ECs, 1620 SAT.

OK, anyone who has a 2000+ SAT and has more than 2 leadership positions is not allowed to post on this thread

3.5 gpa
1840 SAT but i retook in october
640 in ush SAT II
umm im in like 3 clubs but they dont do much, except interact where we volunteer a lot
NHS - senior year only
3 APs (bio, spanish, psych) , 3 honors (spanish 11th grade, PIG, econ) and 3 college courses . (pre-calc, basic chem (in order to be eligible for AP bio cuz i didnt take chem in HS), and english)

volunteer at the library and a nursing home. but i literally just started yesterday . i do random volunteer jobs though.

uhh thats it i guess.

Criteria of being average

SAT= LESS Than 2000 (if you have a 2000…please see your way to the exit sign)
ACT= Less than 30 (that is not even average-_-…we are being lenient here)

GPA= 3.5 or LESS UW and…lets say 4.0 and LESS W (fair enough I think)

Clubs= You can be in ALL the clubs you want…but if your a leader in more than two…LEAVE

APs= 3 or less( in a given year…hell thats still not average.)

Sophomore. 1 AP, APUSH. Only one offered to Sophomores. But I have a 108 average in it… but let’s ignore that. 3.85 GPA.

Only two clubs.
Secretary of GSA.

Plebeian of Key Club.

I would consider myself average but I’m a mix of the criterias listed above.

I’m a Sophomore. Not taking any APs; the only one I could take was AP Euro but I opted for Honors World History instead. I have a three honors classes and a 4.3 weighted/3.8 unweighted. And I’m not in any clubs… my only EC is tennis which I spend a lot of time on in and out of school.

89 gpa
1700 sat
23 act

2 supas
Plently of ec
NHS

I consider myself to be an average student but we are not average ccers the average ccer posts so others can tell them how smart they are or how they are upset that they got a 790 on one section of their SAT average ccers claim that they are going to kill themselves if they dont get into stanford or Harvard we are average students not ccers we have lives outside of academics they do not

I like how you wrote this and you are right we are average students not average ccers we don’t use punctuation in our posts they do :).

Yeah, because all intelligent students who are slightly obsessed over college have no life outside of academics. Right.

they have limited lives outside of academics which are so negligible we neglect them but to be fair average ccers do do things besides academics like eat and sleep though i’m not sure about the sleep.

Can I still post? My GPA and SAT scores are pretty average. I take full IB (kind of like AP except better  ) and leadership is my life…so please take some pity on me and let me stay :D

And enfieldacademy… I don’t sleep anymore lolz. and Political Protege, I think that I see some sarcasm there, but I am 100% obsessed with college related things. That’s why I live on CC, lolz

There’s nothing really special about me.

^ being in this exclusive club of average ccer’s would make you pretty special :D.

This may be average for all students, but on CC, the average poster is certainly stronger than this.

^ what? no…

I would say those criteria are closer to CC’s average and the national average.

i think we’re talking an “average” in comparison to a CC-ish criteria than like a cumulative average of stats in CC. in the criteria listed I definitely fall under average.

3.3 UW GPA, 3.4 W GPA. 26 ACT, 1530 SAT. I think this is the thread for me.

4 APs this year, 9 APs overall, one leadership role, a part time job, swam for two years, and about 100 volunteer hours.
