<p>for AMERICA...around 1600. But since you're on CC, I'm sure that's not the kind of answer you want to hear.</p>
<p>I dunno, generally for kids on CC, it's going to be around 2250, if not higher.</p>
<p>^I'm pretty sure that the average for CC kids is NOT 2250, cause that is higly improbable. Some people don't post accurate information while others don't post at all.</p>
<p>The overall average for all test takers is around a 1505. I'd also be interested in where you got your data for just America, freesia001, because 1600 is the 61st percentile worldwide. Since most SAT takers are American, the average for foreign countries would have to be dismally low for the US' to be 1600.</p>
<p>I'd say the average CC'er's score is around a 2000. It seems like 2250 only because those who get 2300's and such are much more likely to publicize their scores than those who get 1700's. </p>

<p>the information was actually from a test prep class I attended two years ago...I don't know, for me, 1500 and 1600 is pretty much the same - not meaning to offend anyone, of course.</p>
<p>and I agree, people who score low probably don't like posting their scores...still, just from that collegeboard link, there is A LOT of students with sky high scores.</p>
<p>^ yeah, I have a 2120 and people have made disparaging comments about my SAT scores here...so I would guess the average is a lot lower. there are a lot of lurkers as well</p>
