Average SAT

The site says it’s 1242 (<a href=“Undergraduate Statistics)%5B/url%5D”>Undergraduate Statistics), but I keep hearing higher numbers, like ~1300.

btw, I have a 3.7 UC GPA and 1260 (old) SAT and I’m out-of-state; do i have a chance at SD or I? (be honest)

<< 3.4 UC GPA, 1310 SAT

and i got in

yes you have a chance. i know a bunch of other out-of-staters accepted to UCs with similar/a little higher scores

try harder, just a little more and you'll be in for sure

thanks! I'm visiting in a couple of wks

i really though SD was 4.1 gpa and 1300+ sat which 680 sat2s.

UCSD is competitive, but I've got a friend who is 1/4th Native American and got in with a 3.2 and 1120 on the SATs (old SATs). I would say for the normal person, you should have a decent shot. It's kinda like you're on the middle of the fence. I would say you'd definitely have a good shot at UCI, but UCSD may or may not admit you. Write a good essay and your chances will improve greatly.

Those stats are for enrolled students. The higher stats are for admitted students.
