Average Student, what are my chances

Hi, I'm just your typical average student and I'm EXTREMLY nervous about my chances of getting into Notre Dame.

GPA: 4.0 (mediocre)
ACT: 35 (DAMMIT! I SUCK!!!!!)
I've taken all the honors/AP classes I could, and have basically the hardest course possible.
I'm ranked 1/867 students
I'm senior class president, NHS (2yrs), All American swimming, swim team captain (4yrs), DECA (4yrs), Model UN (4yrs), German club (4yrs), I'm a lifeguard, and I have 500 hours of volunteer work.

So do you think I have a chance at getting in? Like I said, I'm just your typical everyday student. I'm really not sure if I'm good enough to get in.

Cheyney University of Pennsylvania (a real school, I should mention)--Match (America's Oldest Historical Black Institution of Higher Learning--of course, I have no idea of your race, so I thought this would be the perfect match. Now if I can just find a good French school to go with your German club background)

Everyplace else except the Ivies--Slight Reach
The Ivies--Safeties (for the janitorial staff positions).

id be extremely nervous too if i was as stuck up as you are and couldnt even spell the word extremely...

This is a joke.

Hold up. Are you serious?

collegepro130 said it best...no offense, but you sound like an A**hole

35 ACT .. ouch.

4.0 GPA and 35 ACT score - mediocre instead (just kidding).

On an honest note, I think your stats are great and there's an extremely high chance you'll get into Notre Dame. You might want to consider some more selective schools, such as the Ivies, Stanford, MIT, etc. as well.

By the way, no offense, but your first message was on the cocky side, even if you meant it as a joke.
