Notre Dame (and others)? New to CC, help me? <3

Hey everybody!
I've read quite a few of these so I think I kind of know how they work by now. It would be extremely appreciated if someone would respond! My dream is to go to Notre Dame, but I'm also looking at Tufts, Yale, Brown, Wash U, Stanford, Cornell, Dartmouth, Penn, Duke...

I am a rising senior and these are my stats:

Location: Florida
Race/Gender: white, female
School: Public, fairly large
GPA UW: 3.98 W: 4.82
Rank: Top 2%, 10/735

SAT: 2230, m: 700 w: 740 cr: 790 essay: 12/12 (should I even send my SAT? I don't think it's really competitive?)
SAT IIs: they suck. WH - 770, lit - 740, all others are shameful
ACT: 35

I will have taken all but one of the AP classes offered at my school by the end of this year.
I take the most rigorous classes available at my school in addition to online classes.

ECs
Sports
-Varsity cross country, 3 years
-varsity track, 1 year
-varsity rowing/crew, 2 years (captain of team)

Clubs

-co-founder of Envirothon team, placed a couple times, 3 years, vp (9), prez (10), secretary (11)
-Masterminds, 3 years
-Environmental club, 2 years
-Mu Alpha Theta, 3 years
-Debate club, 3 years, secretary (12)
-Operation Smile, 3 years
-National Honor Society, 3 years

Other

-I spoke on the local radio for 2 years on hot current topics, often debated with others
-I have like 200 volunteer hours? not too shabby
-I will be assisting a neurologist in his work and editing his manuscripts (he's Hungarian and needs help with grammatical side of English). I want to be a neuroscientist so this could help maybe?
-My greatest achievement is probably creating a rowing team from nothing. It's really a huge thing to explain but basically I single-handedly created a crew team after being injured and unable to continue in cc (spoke at city council, had petitions, raised ~$30,000, etc).
-I think I'm commended for national merit too and I have AP awards and such...

Sorry this is so long! Thank you for taking the time, best of luck to everybody <3

Also, I’m not Catholic… Technically, I’m Lutheran. My family isn’t very religious but I’d like to be?

bump

Bump

Thanks natzatz :bz

Notre Dame - high match
Tufts - high match
Yale - reach
Brown - low reach
Wash U - high match
Stanford - high reach
Cornell - reach
Dartmouth - high reach
Penn - high reach
Duke - reach

Thank you for the feedback!

No problem! @RubyCH‌

I’m not trying to be harsh but your list of schools are a little to ambitious! I see no safeties and barely any targets.

You are not likely getting into
Penn
Stanford
Yale
Dartmouth
Duke
Brown

Maybe
Tufts
Cornell
Notre dame

Probably
Washington

Thanks @17foleyb for the advice! I didn’t list my two safeties because I already know that they are, in fact, safeties. But I appreciate the feedback

Hi there! Thanks for chancing me  you have an excellent ACT score-- your SAT is good too but not as good as your ACT. You could use both scores if you wanted to or just send your ACT, I don’t think either would make too big of a difference. Really good GPA too.

Notre Dame, Tufts - high match
Cornell, Duke - low reach
Penn, Brown - mid reach
Stanford, Yale, Dartmouth - high reach
U Wash - match

Overall you have great stats but keep in mind that all the schools you listed are super selective besides U Wash. You should look at more safeties and matches just in case and consider taking some reaches off your list. Best of luck in the college process!

Thank you! @lumille. I’m going to apply to UF and U Miami in addition to the ones listed, and I’m still narrowing down. I appreciate the help!

Notre Dame - high match
Tufts - high match
Wash U - low reach
Cornell - low reach
The rest are mid-high reaches but you still have a decent chance. You will probably get into one or two of your reach schools. Good luck!

might look at a school like Holy Cross-top25 LAC which is a smaller version of ND but easier to get into.
