Averages at Texas A&M

I was wondering if anyone new the high, mid, and low acceptance GPA at texas A&M.

College Board.com has stats on A&M acceptance.

If you're below top quarter of the class, I'd be worried, if you're top 15% I'd say your safe, if your top 10% You're in.

Rank>GPA

i hope rank is not that important. I am absolute borderline top 25% (im like 24.78%) as of last school year.

but i have a butload of ECs and 2 strong leadership positions with 300+ service hours

What was your SAT score?

DP

1200 (520 CR and 680 Math)

My school doesn't rank ..... that's why was wondering....and i go to a pretty big high school, so it very competitive. I've notice a lot of the kids that are applying to A &M are in high schools 800 or less.... I'm from California, I'm visiting the campus but does that really give me an advantage being that they stress it in their application process?

i know the list acceptance guidelines that go by percentages and scores, but i am not sure if they are for in state or OOS as well.

i also don't know if they are tough for OOSers to get in or not.

guess i am not much help.

my dd is top 20% and will need an SAT of 1250 to get in with that, i believe.

o ok sweet, 1250 out of 1600 right? hahah
thanks for your advice

top 25% and 1300 on the sat is automatic admit
