Awards and Recognitions?

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I'm filling out my UNC App and I'm up to the part where I need to enter any awards I've received (honors and such). However, I have some awards (Honor-roll) that I've had all 4 years of HS and would like to include in this section. However, it only gives me the option to put 1 grade per award. Does this mean that I should put the same award down 4 times and just change the grade I recieved it in? If this is the case I will end up having like 16 boxes which looks horrible.</p>

<p>Also, I'm not sure if I should fill in the additional information essay. I have no special information on the application that I could include but I feel like they want all students to.</p>

<p>Finally, what do you guys think of option #8 for the essays. I wrote a great essay for my common app but I feel like if I include it on my essay as my long supplement, they will be viewing me like I took the lazy way out.</p>

<p>What other awards do you have besides honor role? If you have any significant awards I would advise not mentioning honor roll at all, so as not to distract from them. I’m assuming you’re OOS, so you will be in an applicant pool where almost everyone was on the honor roll. Mentioning it won’t help you stand out.</p>
