Awesome Interview!

Just expressing my happiness!
Had an amazing interview a few hours ago :D
Yes yes I know interviews don't matter much at all, but I'm still excited. The lady loved me!

raise your hand if you care looks around sorry madam, no hands.

A poor to average interview probably won't change anything, good or bad. An extremely good interview with a glowing recommendation can only be a positive though! Good job.

::raises hand::

haha sweet, good for you! What kind of questions did they ask?

I've get to get mine... when did you send in your application?

how can i get an interview?

baklava: I didn't quite ask if anyone cared did I? Your comment is pretty much a waste of webspace. I suggest you find something more productive to do than insulting anonymous posters on a forum.

Thank you mucho smokey.

Pongo: I sent in the pre-app for the Common Application Nov 30th or something. It was just before the Dec 1 deadline to get an interview. I got a call from the alumna Dec 16th or so..

questions were very ordinary. What ECs? Why Duke? How would your friends describe you? What would you do if you had 24 hours to do whatever you wanted?
We got into a lot of political discussion because I said that some of my friends describe me as a feminazi. lol.

coolkash: An alum will call you if you sent in your application early enough (the deadlines are relaxed; it didn't have to be postmarked BY Dec 1st exactly) and if there is one in your area. Otherwise, interviews are just bonuses/completely unnecessary.

aw i like ladyinred she was with me on the harvard board :-D

:s Aw man, I'm so nervous for my one tomorrow! I already screwed up my Wellesley one (and that was my top one) and this is on-par with Wellesley. :s!
And doesn't help I'm not going to have an ounce of sleep the night before(right now) because I have to finish my hw! :| I've been working ceaselessly since Friday afternoon. Freaking teachers who give too much hw. What a horrid way to be prepared for an interview. I'm going to walk in with bags under my eyes...
