share your awkward moments here :)

personally, I find it so awkward when you're at one end of a hallway and someone you sort of know is at the other end, and you don't know whether to say hi or to acknowledge them or what

personally, I find it so awkward when you're at one end of a hallway and someone you sort of know is at the other end, and you don't know whether to say hi or to acknowledge them or what

Hmm…when I say hi to someone and they walk past me without replying lol
I’ll have more later haha

^^^^^^^^I freaking hate when that happens.

^ i hate when i pretend not to notice someone in the hallway to avoid the awkwardness of greetings, but then that person says “hi”, and i have to say “hi” back.

it’s also awkward when “that one kid who think’s he’s funny” cracks a joke in class. no one laughs, and then the onus is on the nice people to pretend to find the joke funny so the guy doesnt feel bad D:

and it’s awkward when all the clique-y girls chain their hands together and walk thru the hallways. wait no, that’s not awkward. it’s just rude.

it’s awkward when you have wardrobe malfunctions and everyone seems to know besides you.

it’s awkward to find out that the person that you were JUSTT smacktalking was walking RIGHT behind you the whole time.

it’s awkward when the teacher isnt in control of the class, and you find yourself shushing the class.

it’s awkward when peoples’ voices crack.

my life is slightly awkward. this is probably my longest post.

^Lol, nice:) I’ll add some(these are just my awkward experiences that I have undergone in no order)

Those are some of the things that I could think of lol

The most annoying awkward moment is when you say “later” to someone, and you end up walking in the same direction.

^That’s awkward too…I think my water incident was one of the worst awkward situations I’ve been in though:/

^^^^ My voice cracks sometimes, and I’m a girl >:O It’s so annoying and embarrassing.

I used to have the most awkward English classes in Jr. High because of my teacher. He didn’t know anything about English (he used “irregardless” often and used “badly” incorrectly all the time). I’m not sure how to describe him, other than to say he was the Michael Scott of teaching. He always put people down that didn’t deserve it, and actually announced our individual test grades in class. Those were the most awkward times I’ve ever had. After I left that school, he apparently told the class he “accidentally” picked up a prostitute. Yeah.

It’s awkward when people insult someone right to their face, in front of other people.

It’s awkward when my parents introduce me to their friends kids and expect us to be best friends right away. I’m usually just like, “So… hi there.”

It’s awkward when someone’s little kid comes up to me from behind and says “Mom!”

It’s awkward when men much older than myself ask me out and I have to tell them I’m 15.

It’s awkward when a teacher instant messages you.

It’s awkward watching movies that contain sex scenes with my dad.

I’m sure I have several more, I’m just too tired to think of them at the moment.

1) After solving an IMO problem in math class (instead of paying attention to the lesson) I was so happy I stood up and exclaimed “I AM A MATH GOD” in the middle of class. Awkward definately, hilarious everybody but my teacher seemed to think so.

2) When the teacher tries to make jokes, and they aren’t funny. Although the epically bad ones are now hilarious.

“It’s awkward when my parents introduce me to their friends kids and expect us to be best friends right away. I’m usually just like, “So… hi there.””

I know! My parents go to these dinner parties that they sometimes drag me along to, and they sort of segregate the adults and the kids so that all the kids are sequestered in one room and forced to talk. It’s funny when my parents introduce me to some twelve-year-old kid saying, “She goes to your school! You should have loads to talk about!” and I’m like, about what, school food? What I hate the most though is when the introductions include facts that I’m supposed to appreciate but are kind of annoying, “She got a 98 in her ICSEs” - great, so do we talk about that now?

Once I told my friend he was wearing his pants too low and I could see his underwear. His girlfriend was close by. I don’t think he’s forgiven me yet.

It’s so awkward when you’re in the hall and you don’t think someone will say anything, but they do, and you don’t have time to reply because they are already past, and then you’re like, “I hope they don’t think I was being mean”
So is when my parents (i.e. mom) brag about me to others when I’m right there, and then I feel like they think I am self-righteous and egotistical

^^^^Aww, sorry:/ I do believe it’s awkward when people 20+ years older than you do that. It’s just creepy…

“2) When the teacher tries to make jokes, and they aren’t funny. Although the epically bad ones are now hilarious.”
I love it when that happens

“She goes to your school! You should have loads to talk about!” and I’m like, about what, school food? <-lol

It is awkward when someone says something that unintentionally could be an inneundo, everyone thinks the same thing, and it becomes quiet.

^that’s when you are supposed to yell “that’s what she said”, and then everyone laughs and the awkward moment is over.

When you accidentally beep the horn and you have to drive alongside the same people for a few miles.

Being stuck in a room with another teacher alone after-school for several hours -

Maybe it’s just me. But last year it was soo awkward - I ended up staying alone with my science teacher till 7:00 PM in the building working a research project. And he offered me a ride home(which is also awkward)…

^I’m worried about your science teacher. Is this the same one who made you promise to be in his class next year? lol

Lol - that made me laugh. It is the same one though. I don’t think (well, frankly, more like hoping) there is anything to be worried about. He is genuinely nice and it is common for most students stay after school with him for extra assistance. I just don’t recall anyone having to stay w/ him alone (it’s usually a group of people that stay behind), but who knows, it might have happened…

My friends never leave me alone about this lol…

Lol, well you know I had to make sure:) haha, I’m glad he is ok, I just thought I’d ask:>
