Especially in hallways. Fortunately, I don't mind.

How are you awkward?

I probably am not TOO awkward. I mean, I can function socially fine.

I just FEEL that way, at times…I just hate hallways–they are supremely awkward.

When you walk, you think that you are being awkward?:/

I think it is always awkward seeing someone in the hallway if they aren’t the sort of person you act in a goofy way with. You sort of look away from them for a bit till you get close enough to say high/wave. Other person does it too, and of course, both of you know what each other are doing.

This vs. someone you act in a silly manner with, and you can do something like crazy hand signals or yell.

^THAT.

haha, NOT walking…I am fine to walk…if walking was awkward, that would suck.

It’s seeing someone you semi-know.

Or when you wave and the person doesn’t return it.

BUT THE WORST: When someone waves to you or talks to you but it’s actually someone behind you…

That happens to me too lol

CC is having technical difficulties.

I always yell to my friends in the hallways or they yell my name first, I don’t have akward moments in the hallway either, except this one time.

I don’t have those akward moments. I think I’ve had a total of one. My friends usually yell to me or I yell to them.

I usually don’t notice people when they say hi to me and it probably comes off as really pretentious :/

It’s only awkward if you make it awkward, and if you keep thinking about how awkward it was for hours.

Wait. I have to qualify this…I am slightly awkward, just because I am…

BUT I DONT CARE ABOUT IT.

I am completely fine with it. I just find it funny–it gives me a strange pleasure laughing about how awkward I am and how a situation is.

I don’t care that I am somewhat awkward. It’s funny.

There are facebook groups for every one of these lol. Universally awkward situations.

I say “hey” and use the head-up, sup-nod to acknowledge people I’m familiar with but don’t hang out with all the time. It’s usually never awkward, unless both of us are alone in the hallway.

I remember on the first day of high school (I didn’t know anybody) while walking towards my second period class, I forgot how to walk. I don’t even know how I even got there on time.

If you have a moment where someone waves to a person behind you but you wave, if you are in a place where no one knows you grab something and wave it and say random things… It’s better if people think you’re crazy than stupid.

When I say hi to someone in hallways and they ignore me for some reason, I just assume that they’re tired and didn’t get enough sleep last night. It’s a satisfying explanation to me.

Rush through the hall way with a flying jet speed and you will not be awkward anymore because you won’t have time to notice the surroundings.

Tall people who slouch when walking are awkward.

But if you run to class, you’ll still be AWKWARD
:)

it’s a catch-22. if you walk slow, you’re awkward. if you dont walk slow at all…still awkward!

faillogic

I walk straight up, confident, almost like marching.

But I’m an awkward person.
