Awkward Situation? Transfer Student.

So I made up my mind a couple years back that I wanted to start living my life in California.

Of course, universities won't take me seriously when I say I am not there just for tuition purposes... etc.

I attended a California Community College... for 2 semesters and had family issues that needed to be taken care of back at home (Washington State).

Right now, I just started Winter QTR at a community college here in Washington because I felt that not going to school and just working full-time would not benefit me whatsoever.

I do plan on going back to California someday.. to finish school
(most likely transfer after done with general studies requirement here in WA).

I have studied well enough about transfering from a CCC because I used to go and plan to transfer to a UC or CSU.

Does anyone know what happens for someone who did ATTEND a CCC but had to come back for family reasons and then transfer to a UC/CSU?

I would be half and half basically when it comes to courses taken at a CCC and WA CC?

I don't know if I would still be considered fully OOS (looked at without my CCC credits) or they would weigh my 2 semesters of CC credits?

Although... some of the credits I took at a CCC aren't college level... only 1 of them I believe (English 28).

Do I have a chance as OOS to transfer to UCLA?

You need to come back and complete 30 units (at least 2 semesters) at a CCC or else you will be considered OOS. you also need 60 transferrable units to apply and GE and major prereqs done to be competitive. All with a high gpa.
