Does anyone know what we do if we fail the AWPE? I read somewhere you can enroll in a summer course, but I'm going to be busy this summer. Will I have to take Basic Writing? Is it hard? How many quarters is it? I'm kinda worried D:

I got a 6. Is there any way we can appeal the score because I was confident about my essay.

I also got a 30 on my ACT English, but 28 on my writing that means I don't meet that requirement right?

“i totally thought i did better than that” isn’t a very strong argument for changing your grade …

i had some friends who took Subject A to make up for the writing class requirement. the consensus was that it was just a little annoying to have that on top of other classes, but passing it isn’t hard if you’re a fluent english speaker.

How and when do you sign up for that class? Will it be at the same time as when you sign up for your fall classes?

I’m on the same boat. I am not free over the summer; however, I found an online course of a UC-Transferable course. I don’t know if it will work. I called the Academic Advising Office, and a student helper answered my question. She said that it “should” work. But I need a more assured answer. So now I don’t know what to do.
