AWPE Results?

Does anyone know when the Advanced Writing Placement Exam results come out? Thanks in advance!

I called the testing people about this for my son. They told me the results should be out early next week, the week of the 14th.

We can view the results on Tritonlink, right?

I believe you get your results mailed to you.

UCSD already has the results. You can call the basic writing office at 858 534 6177.

I passed. :D

I passed also  12/12 yayyy

dang they havent posted online for me :/

AWPE results are out on tritonlink (MyApplication)

I’m a little confused on how the AWPE is scored. For example, UCSD and the AWPE’s site on the scoring guide scores essays from 1 to 6. From what stpatricks14 and I received as scores however, it is possible to score 12, and Tritonlink lists 6 as a fail and 8 as a pass. I’ll chance a guess and say that they doubled the numbers so that it’s from 2 to 12?

Two people score your essay, and they each grade from 1-6. Then their scores are combined, and the total number is what score you get.

lol I wish inkandquill was right D: i failed it

I had a fever while writing that thing, but I still lucked out and scraped by with an 8/12  close call

woo i got an 11! sweetness

Is that the thing you can AP out with a 3 on eng?

@uchogwarts Yes

Where exactly do you find out what score you get?

when i checked my scores there were two scores to it…exact same wordings and same scores but just listed twice…do i add them up to get the score out of 12? (cuz it says 6 for both of them i hope thats how it works lol)

yeah… when i checked my score it only has 1 score, while some other people i know who are going to ucsd got 2 scores… anyone know why this is?

there must be a mistake. The system probably sent the score out twice because my score is 010 and the page repeated the same score underneath it.

So mine is shown as:
010
010
