Hello all! I've been considering getting a Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Computer Information Systems, but I was notified by a family friend that a Bachelor's in Business Administration involves both of those majors, along with finance and some other additional things. Now I'm wondering, which would be a better choice? I'm more interested in doing business related work through the computer, and I'm not sure if a BBA allows me to do that. Any ideas?

Bumping up this thread. :(

Information systems is a concentration of the BBA degree, just like accounting, finance, marketing, economics, etc. So, you’ll complete the core business classes that all business majors are required to take, and the other courses will be information systems related. Obviously, if you want to work in information systems, choose CIS. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

BBA isn’t a major. Its a degree type, just like a BS or BA. So you can have a BBA in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems…
