please grade my SAT II Writing Essay from Barron's on a scale of 1-6

topic:"In ancient Greece a 'hero' was a man who won glory on the field of battle. Since then, heroes have taken many shapes, from astronauts to Mother Theresa to just plain folks caught up in unusual circumstances. Who would be your nominee to be put in a Halle of heroes? Your hero may be real or fictional, living or dead, and of any species, human or nonhuman. In an essay, please explain the reasons for your choice."

my essay:
Throughout history, heroes have existed in many forms, have contributed to many different fields, and have accomplished numerous worthwhile feats that have changed the world for the better. John Lennon, a talented musician and a member of the legendary band "The Beatles", is a hero because of his extraordinary contribution to many of the issues that plagued society during the 80's and 90's and his encouragement to people of different ethnic groups from all around the world to unite to make society a better place.

John Lennon was a feminist. Many times he protested against the violence and unjust behavior displayed towary women. In his song "Women is the Nigger of the Wolrd", Lennon acknowledged the unjustified life of women as he sang "While putting her [women] down/we pretend that she's above us...women is the slaves of the slaves..." He was one of the first prominent figures in history to admit to the public that the status of women had not truly advanced as far as the majority of the people had thought during that time period.

Another issue that John Lennon took a strong stance on was the conditions of the middle working class of America. Although as an accomplished gutarist Lennon was affluent, he often aided the middle class by donating money to charity and dedicating songs that he believed would help the middle class. A well known song was "Working Class Hero" which reflected the beliefs and attitude of many of the middle class workers of that day and age. Lyrics such as "They hurt you at home and they hit you at school/They hate you if you're clever and they despite a fool" and "When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years/Then they expect you to pick a career" have made many "working class heroes" life long worshiperers of John Lennon.

Most of his songs, however, are dedicated to promoting peace. Lennon's most famous song was "Imagine", a song that pleaded the people to imagine a happier and freer land. His haunting lyrics such as "Imagine there's no countries/it isn't hard to do/nothing to kill or die for" stay with you and make it hard to forget. Another song promoting peace was "Give peace a chance" where Lennon enlisted the help of other celebrities to join in on the chorus as they all sang "All we are asking is to give peace a chance."

John Lennon will always be one of the notable twentieth century heroes because of his love for society and his incorporation fo music and words to benefit society. You may call him a dreamer but I call him a hero.

PLEASE GRADE AND COMMENT. THANK YOU.
