Does this major meet requirements for admission to most schools of veterinary medicine? (ex: UCDavis Vet School)
You need to go to the CPP preprofessional website and look. We’d have to google and search, so really that’s your job.
It can probably be made to meet the requirements, but so could an English major. 
You actually need to look at the required courses at UCD (and really any vet school you might apply to, although they will be more or less the same). Then make sure you pick your major courses and electives to fit the requirements.

At CPP, the Animal Science major has a “pre-vet option” (also called track) that fulfills the vet school req’ts.
