Babson College 14 or Northeastern 14

Hello I am a senior in High School and have been accepted into the business programs at both these schools: Babson and Northeastern. I was wondering if i could get advice on where i should attend and why(education, future, and lifestyle)..... these are my top choice schools and thanks for ur advice

they both have great business schools… it just depends what you want otherwise in a school… babson is more of a hardcore business school that only offers only business majors… if later you decide business isnt for you your kind of in a predicament if you go to babson… northeastern is a university that offers a wide arrange of major to choose from… also the factor of big school vs. small school factors in… babson college is small compared to northeastern… the social life seems to be better at northeastern too… so if your looking for a small hardcore business school choose babson college… if you want a large university with a decent social life pick northeastern… either way your choosing a top notch business program…

thanks jeffsunn any more takerrs

Babson! Its more well known and offers a great education (I know a few that have gone there, they are all really successful).

thankss spanglish bumpp

someone plz answer

Im going to be a bit biased because im choosing between Brandeis and Northeastern. I would choose Northeastern hands down. I’m from Minnesota and have never heard of Babson till you just mentioned it. Northeastern is an up and coming university with a great business school. Go NEU!

Both have strong business programs and both are fairly well known in the Boston area. Once outside New England their name recognition fades fairly quickly, I would give a slight edge, very slight, to Northeastern on that point.

Northeastern was somewhat of a pioneer in the co-op learning approach. It may take you 5 years to get your degree but one year will be spent working, (and usually getting paid), in “the real world”. This approach oftentimes leads to job offers from the co-op employers. I don’t know anything about Babson’s opportunities in this regard.

Northeastern is in the city of Boston very close to Fenway Park. Babson is in suburban Wellesley surrounded by old homes. It is a mile to downtown Wellesley and a mile to the train station that can take you into Boston (about a 30 minute ride). The choice is very urban versus very suburban, the environments couldn’t be more different. It’s really up to you to decide which one you prefer.

bumppppppppp thanks

At Northeastern you can finish in 4 years, if you only do 2 co-ops. Northeastern is big and somewhat inflexible. But both are great schools. I would echo the concern about being able to change your mind about your major at Babson- there is nothing else beside business. (My son decided he wanted the flexibility in case he changed his mind.)

thanksss for the input

Go with Northeastern. Better value and on an upward trajectory. Good luck!

you need to visit both colleges. They have very different campuses, cultures, student bodies etc. After a visit it will probably be an easy choice.

Congratulations on being accepted to two fantastic (and very different) schools! I would recommend overnight stays on both campuses.

okay thankssssssss
