Bachelors in Finance or Management or Major/Minor either or both?

Hey I’m Chris,
I’m currently going for a bachelors in MIS and I can’t wrap my head around the programming aspect of the courses. It’s kicking my butt and I feel like now MIS just isn’t for me. I want to stay in business, I’m not interested in accounting but I’m open to discussion. I know there are no “easy” business degrees, but at this point I just don’t want a degree that has even the slightest bit of programming in it. I’ve been looking into finance and business management but I keep hearing mixed things about management degrees. Are they “worthless”? Or is finance just the better degree? I really need help with this because I’m looking for an immediate degree change. Choices are Finance - Business Management - Human Resources Management - Marketing
WHICH ONE

Of the potential majors you mentioned I’d say that finance is generally considered to be the most rigorous and employable. You may want to stop by your college’s career services office and discuss their recent experiences placing people with these majors.

In terms of difficulty and usefulness how would you rank those degrees? Including MIS

Cause I was thinking of majoring in Finance and minor in marketing

I think undergraduate in finance is more interesting, save the mgmt for if/when ya get a MBA further down the line

What about majoring in Mgmt and minor in Finance?

I think you should just major in finance and pick one of the other ones for a minor, whichever one you think is the most interesting/applicable
