Ok, my major is management information systems. I was thinking about minoring in some computer related fieldbut now I might minor in finance. And eventually get a MBA sound like a good idea?

Depends on the context of what you want to do career-wise.

I know I have mymajor picked out and will gofor my MBA. Still unsure about the whole minor thing.

Minor in what interests you, because minors tend to have little practical benefit (outside of the personal realm).

I’d like to minor in something that will compliment my major and I’m loking at minors in business or computer area. But I know I’m not going to like programming so I’m thinking a business minor.

I hate accounting so I’m not minoring in that. There is a minor that just says business but it’s too vague. Here are my choices of minors at my college: Accounting, Advertising/Public Relations, Economics, Econ/Stats, Logistics, Finance, MIS, Business, Human Resources, Marketing, Nonprofit leadership. Which one would compliment my MIS major? Right now I’m looking at finance.

Logistics or finance.

Accounting would be good but you said no to that option.
