Okay I've always wanted to be a doctor or a lawyer, but what if by the time I graduate college I decide that I don't want to go to law or med school.

I want to major in something that can get me a good job without grad school just in case I decide not to go.

So can anyone suggest a major that can get me job?

I was thinking a joint econ/math degree or psychology

there are 2 kinds of degrees -- vocational and academic. If you want a degree that leads directly to a job then major in one of the vocational majors. Things like accounting, nursing, engineering, education, etc.

What are you interested in? Pick something that you lke because if that is what you end up doing it is going to be your life for at least a few years. Don't pick a major based on what anyone else says you should be doing.. it has to be what you love.
If you are already thinking that you may not want law or medicine (and those are two totally different fields) I think you really need to spend some serious time thinking about what you enjoy. I can speak from experience when I say that you are much better off in a major that you enjoy than one that you think will get you into Med school.
What do you really love doing and then try to figure out a major that will get you involved in that. If you love Medicine then focus maybe on Bio. if you love Law, then maybe get into B school and load up on the Bus Law courses.
Go with your heart on a major.
