Backpacks

do we need to get backpacks designed to fit laptops? i was thinking about just taking my jansport backpack...loL

if you really care about your laptop you could get a laptop sleeve and then put it in your regular jansport backpack.. at least that way your laptop has some padding.

I got a new backpack with a laptop compartment and a lap top sleeve. It seems to work the best because none of my school supplies touch or put pressure on my laptop.

Get a laptop bag instead.

what are some good laptop bags? do they sell those bags at bestbuy and compusa?

i plan on just taking my north face backpack.

yeah, they also make jansport ones if you look at places that sell jansport. i got mine at a jansport outlet.

ebags.com i got a victorinox one which i love.

you dont need your labtop in class and unless you have to carry alot of books you really dont need a backpack. its not good for your back. in college people who use there labtop around school are nerds.

^um...right... and it's "laPtop", not "laBtop"

anyway, you should def have a bag for books and your laptop...esp if you have a bike and therefore won't be able to carry stuff. laptops comes in handy when you're taking notes for humanities classes, or if you need to surf the web quickly or something.

what a joke
go ahead a ride around campus like lance armstrong

.......good one.......

people who use laptops around campus are nerds? hahahahhaha.

Someone in our family gave my son an awesome laptop backpack for Christmas that they purchased at Best Buy. I guess it was around $100 new but they got it for $50 on clearance. My son LOVED it.

@ t4885214 : dont be jealous

^um, she/he isn't being jealous. there's a "?" at the end of the statement. she/he was laughing at crunkjuice's post.

hahaha what is up with the people on campus with laptops are nerds thats pretty funny lol i highly doubt that

Do most people even use backpacks or just carry their notebooks/papers in their hands for classes? Also for those that do use backpacks is it the one in which the strap goes over your front across your stomach or the traditional ones ( used in HS)?

the ones with the strap across are called messenger bags. i've seen people with both. i'd say it's 70/30 backpack/messenger. messenger bags are hard to carry on a bike so keep that in mind.

I am using a Victorinox backpack.
