I have really been slacking on the AP Review this year. My stats are pretty solid and I've been doing quite a bit of review for the upcoming SAT. My question is that if my app is otherwise qualified for UCLA and CAL (4.0 uw / 2100+ / 750+) will a few bad AP test this year throw off my app. My current stats are found here:

You don't need to get 5s on all your AP tests. Try to get some 4s and 5s but 3s will suffice. I think it's only a problem if you fail too many AP tests. Then they start to question your grades or your motivation towards the end of the year. However you have good test scores anyways, so don't worry too much about it. I have always been a slacker when it comes to AP testing.

"Other academic factors considered are: strength of the program within the school context in quality, content, and level of course work taken throughout the entire high school program, including the number of Honors, AP, IB, or CL classes; rigor of the senior year program;

Are you a junior? In your situation, it probably won't affect you even if you get all 3s from now on. You'll probably study anyways to try to get a 3, and end up with higher scores. Just don't stress out if you don't get all 5s. It helps to get a 4 or 5 on AP Calculus and AP Lang/Lit though for credit/placement. For most the other tests, a 3 is good enough.

You can get bad scores removed from your record. It still says that you took the test, but says something like "grade removed at student's request"

First, STOP SLACKING. (sorry, been my mantra to my senior son all week) Second, you already have two 5's, (including Euro which is considered rigorous), which are great. Third, the UCs give full college credit for a 3, so you should be fine. Just self-report all score higher than a 2. You do not have to send an official AP score report with your app -- the UCs (and any other college) accepte self-reported AP scores. In this case, don't report anything lower than a 3.
