My friend and I took the AP Latin: Virgil test last year. I got a 3 and he got a 2. Is it necessary to put these scores down considering they aren't that good. Would it in any way affect our chances of admission into some of the better schools, like Ivies, or in general? Thanks!

Yes, you should put them down. Remember, you certify that your application is complete and correct; omissions count as "incomplete." No, it is unlikely to affect your chances in any serious way.

I don't know that you are required to list your ap scores, I would check this out. Lots of people I know took AP's after their freshman or sophmore years, just for the sake of it, they are not part of your official transcript or anything. Maybe it's changed this year, but I know tons of people who never reported AP scores.

Things have changed this year. This year, the Common App specifically asks about AP scores and has a section for them. Last year, it didn't.
