bad first semester senior grades affect alot?

So I've had straight A's and one B in my sophomore year all throughout high school.
I have three B's currently in my senior year and I'm really worried about how much those will affect my acceptances to colleges.
B's aren't bad grades but compared to almost all A's, they're an obvious drop.
My SATI score isn't too great either - superscore is 2120- and ACT is 33.
I got 740 for math2c, 770 for korean, and 790 on chem.

Only taking my scores and grades into consideration, how badly does three B's affect my chances of getting into say, schools like UC san diego, berkeley,la, davis?

What about schools like brown, duke, usc, rice and northwestern?

Anyone have personal accounts of lower than usual senior grades but getting accepted into upper middle and upper tier schools?

Hi there,
I’m in a similar position as you, so I’d like to offer some moral (if only virtual) support.
UCs:
From my knowledge, they don’t look at your senior year grades until after you get accepted. Keep in mind, though, that they can rescind their acceptance letter if you go below a 3.0 (a bit higher, I think for Berkeley)

Tier 1 Schools:
IDK. Lol. sorry–but it’s the truth. I’m HOPING it won’t affect decisions too much…but I guess we’ll see. Check out some of the other threads on CC btw–many similar questions as yours have been posted, and I though the responses were overall reassuring (for the most part).

Best of luck!
