Bad Freshman Year

Will a Bad Freshman year hurt my UC / stanford chances?

i know that they don’t include freshman year in gpa, but factors like the class rank might be affected. (or do they only take the soph, junior class rank?) . On the other hand, they might say how much i improved. (Freshman 3.6, Soph 4.3, Junior, 4.5)

MEH TOOO!!!!! ecept mine was 3.9 GPA in freshman. dood...man...dont u worry...if u show GREEAT improvement like u did, they will take you into a huge consideration. hey..i wouldnt be suprised if u got accepted to any UC. but stanford..boy, man, u never know about them. but im pretty sure with a crazy essay and great recommendation will make up for ur freshman.</p>

as for stanford, i already know i don't have much of a chance.. all i want is at least a little bit of chance maybe 20-40% </p>

<p>HELLNO..never say never mistuh. man...just write a CRAZY ASSS essay and get sum great recommendaiton and sum good EC's..u should be packin.. man..whats ur overal GPA like...4.2 or 4.1 or sumthin? still dats DAM GOOD. i'd say more like 50 percent chance if u have sum great stuff that will impress the admissioin ppl</p>
