Bad GPA but great ACTs, what do I do?

<p>I have a pretty weak GPA (3.5/4.0) for my school especially.
But... I got a 34 on my ACT.
I want to apply to Vanderbilt ED, how would they look at this?</p>

<p>I have great ECs, essays, recommendations... and I'm hispanic.</p>

<p>A little more detail (class rank? what ECs exactly? value of recs?) would be necessary to judge, IMO.</p>
