I applied to transfer to Stony Brook a while back, and they asked for my final transcript for this semester. I did well first semester (3.6), but due to a math class I took, my GPA this semester was a 2.94. My overall is still over 3, is there any chance of me still getting into the English Department?
I would call the admissions office and ask.
