Bad Midyear Report

I recently got my first semester grades, they were not what I hoped for, in the event that i did get into USC, or if they requested them if I was boarderline, would they screw me?

Honors Physics -C
AP Calc AB- C
AP English- A
American Govt.- B+

Those were my only academic classes, the others were, religion, a leadership class, and PE

I also included that my mom went into the hospital in the beginning of finals week this semester in a letter that I sent the school if that helps

If you get accepted, they won't rescind for those grades. You better hope that they won't request midyear grades though!

My daughter's school sends midyear grades to every college they apply to. Her midyear grades are a little below her GPA. Should I request the school not send them? She's applying for BFA theater.

Accept, I would ask your daughter's school to only send midyear reports to schools that have requested them, if these grades will be bringing her GPA down. Pmcharmkins, same to you. No sense in offering information they are not requesting, unless it is helpful to your case. Good luck!
