Bad SAT score but good TOEFL?

I have a 1920 SAT (570 CR, 670 Math, 680 Writing), but my TOEFL is a 109.
Anyways for my TOEFL I have a 26/30 for reading. Which is not perfect but far better than the 570 CR. I once heard someone say that colleges want to know if students handle pressure and being able to read alot. I'm an avid reader, in fact I love reading, and when reading novels/books I easily finish hundreds of pages within days while understanding all content without any issues.
Anyways, I'm wondering if my TOEFL score would compensate my SAT, especially for unversities like UChicago and Yale. (I already know they are huge reaches and have many other much safer colleges where my score is within the range)
Thank alot :)

TOEFL score does not contribute to admission decisions and whatever is the minimum at each school needs to be met.

TOEFL is only a indication of your English proficiency, not your academically abilities. Universities will check if you meet their minimum requirements, they won’t really read into it.
So no, the TOEFL score won’t compensate your SAT. However, a good GPA may.

Anyway, if you really want to have a shot for schools like UChicago and Yale, I suggest to boost ur SAT scores.

@texaspg‌ @Sarantsatsr‌ Oh that makes sense thanks for clearing that up
@Sarantsatsr‌ No time to repeat actually. As much as I love both Unis I already know my chance is too low for them, plus I have other realistic colleges that I love too.

TOEFL can allow to 'read the CR score in context" or even “replace” it at less selective universities, but not at universities/LACs in the top 25.
