Bad Swarthmore Essay?

I'm trying to relate the universe and Swarthmore in a sense how they excite me so much and how they are similar to each other... I attempted it, but result does not seem pleasing. Anyone wanna read it? I'll paste it if anyone wants to.

Oh hack, I’ll just post it now.

The night sky is beautiful. Whenever I gaze up at the sky, I find myself lost in time in the midst of scintillating stars and the dim moonlight. It has been a long time since I first encountered the charm of the fathomless space, and the timeless universe continues to excite me as if no time has passed. The same excitement overwhelms me as I think of a college I desire to attend, and Swarthmore College is the core of that excitement because Swarthmore resembles the universe so much.
When I want to travel through time, I simply look up to the night sky. The stars I see right now can be from a thousand years ago, a few million years ago, or even three trillion years ago. While the universe projects only the distant past, it is also the final frontier where the future of human beings lies. Swarthmore College is the birthplace of Honors Program, nurtured the first woman to receive Ph. D, and set countless other precedents that formed the contemporary American higher education. However, the Swatties do not dwell on their past success, and lead the way for the brighter, more promising future. Swarthmore College is where the past and the future coexist, and I look to live through that environment while pursuing astronomy, the study of my beloved universe.

i love looking at the night sky (username, haha) and so I totally understood what you felt! (i’m not going for astronomy though). I think its charming. I like it  It really sounds like you want to go there!

Thank you Beautifulnights :)
