I hope you brought your notebook and are prepared to take extensive notes! We needta know! LOL

BW Theater Dept also has a Facebook page. There are some video clips on that of Henry IV, and some dance performances. I urge you all to take a look.

MTMAJORCOOK…I am thinking about you and your Son today…best wishes!

Lol, they really should put some better videos on their FB page. :/

Thanks MTMajorCook! I didn’t see last night’s post until just now. I hope the audition went well.

Did you talk to any kids who weren’t performance students? Something about BW is appealing to me. He’s young (just a sophomore), so he doesn’t really know what type of school he wants. It’s quite likely he’ll go to a techie school (his sister is at Rochester Institute of Technology) - but I want him to look at different types of schools before he decides. I think we’ll take a road trip to Ohio University in Athens as well as BW and gauge his reaction from there.

I did not get to speak to any non performance students, but the Vocal Performance Major we spoke with said she’s in a sorority and 2 of her roommates are non performance majors. She said she has a wide range of friends and the MT Jr. agreed with this. They have a really large workout facility, the dance studios are on the second floor of this facility. It was a busy place, lots of working out and swimming going on lol.

We were at Wright State the week before which is really “techy” from what I understand.

I know at BW when we toured our guide told us one of the national tours that came through used their workout facilities and talked with the students. I believe their connection was with Vicky. He was also specific to tell us to put in for the dorms by the theatre especially when winter comes you will appreciate being that close to where the majority of you classes are
