<p>For everybody who submitted it, when you log back in do you see just the “Start new application” thing and that your previous application is no longer there?</p>
<p>^ Yep. I just submitted mine and it’s the same thing.</p>
<p>How do you know if your letter of recommendation uploaded? I couldn’t tell so I just clicked submit, thinking that it would correct my mistake if I didn’t upload it correctly. My application didn’t show my letter of recommendation was uploaded, but I was able to successfully submit my app. Does that mean I did it correctly? :/</p>

<p>@mesgue: When you upload the recommendation it should have the name of the document there… You’d know if it was there or not. Sounds like yours wasn’t uploaded… Might want to fax it before the deadline today.</p>
<p>Do we have to live in THE CITY?</p>
<p>For example: I live a few miles outside Houston, TX, so can I be chosen? Or does one HAVE TO LIVE in exactly one of the 44 cities listed?</p>
<p>I sent in my application already, but I am curious about this. I have attended lots of camps and programs in Houston and at the University of Houston. I am close by, but my zipcode is not IN Houston… </p>

<p>@hsherburne I don’t think so, because I found out about this program from a guidance counselor at my school that said boa specifically asked for people form our school/district. I live in a suburb of San Francisco. I hope I’m not wrong!</p>

<p>Does the application automatically reject requests after the deadline? My teacher wasn’t able to print a letter of rec because of power outages and snow days for the last two weeks… is there an email she can make a plea to?</p>
