bank statement

Should i submit my bank statement before application deadline?
i am an international student and us colleges ask for a bank / financial statement when do i exactly submit it ... should it be before the application deadline or after i get my acceptance letter??
please help
and don't give a simple answer as depends on the college , please.

What colleges ask for is a form, referred to as a SEVIS I-20 form or just a SEVIS form or I-20 form that would include a bank statement because it is part of the process of getting an F-1 visa to attend college in the US. The Common app form which is similar to many others can be found here http://www.scu.edu/ugrad/admission_process/apply/upload/2013-Certification-of-Finances-Guidelines_1.pdf</a> If the college does not use the common app go to its site and get its suggested form.

When it is due varies among colleges and thus you must check the rules for each college to which you are applying. Some do require it at the time the application is submitted but many allow it to come later. It is usually good to send it earlier rather than later so it is ready to be submitted as soon as you are admitted because the process of actually getting the visa can take quite a while.
