Hello, I am an international student applying to several need-blind US universities. According to what I read online, universities ask for bank statements to verify information. Are bank statements documents that show the amount of money stored in an account for a specific day, or are they documents that show every transaction for 6 or 12 months?
As an international student, I would contact the college(s) directly and ask what they want. I don’t know where you read this “online” but really…each college is your source for what that college wants.
Re: being need blind. All this means is that your finances are not considered when your application for admission is reviewed.
This is an excellent resource for international students hoping to study in the U.S.: https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/.

Statement is about the transactions not only the balance
