<p>Pretty much everyone uses Williamstown Savings Bank or TD Banknorth; they offer similar student checking accounts and both have relatively convenient locations. I use WSB and have no complaints; the staff are friendly and you can check your account online, which is all that really matters to me.</p>
<p>There's a form on the WSB web site you can fill out and send in to open an account in advance, but you don't really need to - I had no trouble just walking in during First Days and opening an account with a cashier's check from my old bank. I wouldn't worry too much about banking until you actually get to campus.</p>
