<p>If you have Wachovia-Wells Fargo, you should be fine.</p>
<p>There’s a Wachovia ATM on 40th and Chesnut and a Wachovia Bank + ATM around 36th and Chesnut (Both of which you can use a Wells Fargo Account, as I do). Maybe it’s not as convenient as PNC, but it wasn’t worth changing banks for me (I don’t go to the ATM too often, and when I need to, it’s a short walk away).</p>
<p>But yes, if you have PNC, you’re set for life (at least at Penn). There’s even a PNC ATM in my building (Harrison).</p>
<p>student federal credit union is starting to look good. Tax benefits and higher interest rates…</p>
<p>what about HSBC? I’ve been using it for years and don’t really want to open a new account…</p>
