Most convenient bank on campus...

As I currently belong to a local credit union, I'm looking to join a national bank to join...What bank is most convenient for a Penn student?

yeah i was thinking of the same thing. i have a chase account. will that be convenient?

PNC has the most ATMs. It has ATMs in dorms, at Wawa, Houstin Hall, and other buildings. PNC also claims to have no ATM fees at other bank's ATMs.

I'd say Wachovia is next (by a wide wide margin) with one branch and "2" ATMs on campus (I'd really say one at the branch, but if you want to go to 40th and Chesnut be my guest).

SFCU is probably more prevalent than Wachovia, but almost all of my friends who use it hate it.

PNC. Nothing else even comes close.

Hm. There are no PNC banks in New Hampshire... can i set up an account online? or I could always just wait til I get there I suppose?

All Wawa (there are two on campus) ATM's have no surcharges no matter what your bank is. So if you're going to be doing more withdrawing than depositing it won't be a big deal.

^The problem is that your bank still charges you a dollar or two to access your money. It's better than also having the ATM charge you, but it adds up.

I'm pretty sure there is a Citizens Bank branch on campus, and probably a bunch of ATMs, too. They do a pretty good job of being a consumer bank.

^^Oh, I guess I got lucky then because my bank doesn't charge me for using another bank's ATM.

there's also a commerce bank branch on campus

but yes, pnc is best
