How much aid does Barnard give to an international student (family income below/around $30k) with exceptional ECs, grades, a strong application, and a successful interview?
I want to get an estimation - especially from international undergrads who are accepted in US colleges
Students who do not have “exceptional ECs, grades, a strong application, and a successful interview” are not going to be admitted in the first place.
IF Barnard accepts a student THEN they will “meet full need”- as Barnard calculates that need. Obviously, how much that is will vary by student.
Barnard considers the financial need of an international applicant when deciding whether to accept her.
In the 2019-2020 admissions round, 9314 young women applied to Barnard. 1076 were offered places, and 624 enrolled. Of those 624, 76 are international students. Of the 76 international students, 17 received financial aid, and the average amount of aid was $68,942 (Cost of Attendance, not including transportation to get to college, is approx. $76, 279).
tl;dr: IF you can get in, Barnard will likely make it possible for you to attend.
edit: just looked at your other post, and you have already been given almost all of this info- why are you making a new thread?
