I’m super into crime shows (Criminal Minds, Law and Order, NCIS…) and medical dramas (Grey’s Anatomy, Chicago Med). I also recently discovered Madam Secretary and I’m hooked!

@ellesea Oh my goodness, HTGAWM is so crazy; I love it. Do you watch any other Shonda Rhimes shows? I also watch Suits, NCIS, Bates Motel (though they’re between seasons right now), aaaand Chicago PD. Also, Face Off?!! I 1000% recommend if you’re into special effects. It is mindblowing and so satisfying. (And basically everything else on Food Network is on my top all-time watch list.)
Chicago PD is my fav i honestly love it same with SVU!!! and the food network is the best. i could watch chopped forever. also…the barefoot contessa, anyone??? @blooberries

@teenwitch YES, Chicago PD. I meet so few people who watch it! Ahh, Ina is my baking fairy godmother. She and Jeffrey are adorable… I could watch Giada 24/7 and also Holiday Baking Championship?! It’s bringing on the holiday spirit so wonderfully. :’)
@BlueMoon6793 Do you watch Scandal? Many of my friends are huge fans. Ugh, I love Criminal Minds and NCIS as well. I’ve never watched Chicago Med, but it crossed over with Chicago PD a few times, I believe! As for cooking, I’m sure you’ll be fantastic in no time with some practice and lots of taste testing.
Hey guys! I’m a fellow thread stalker turned account holder too lol! I have been obsessed with Barnard ever since I’ve discovered it. I applied ED and it’s my dream school but reading all of your posts, I know I have no chance compared to you guys but wish me luck! I want to major in political science with a concentration in international relations and possibly minor in film and media studies. My favorite shows are veep, the office, sons of anarchy, American horror story and the wire. I am obsessed with Wes Anderson’s movies and unique humor. I can’t believe that it’s so close to decision day! I’m so nervous! I think about Barnard every second of they say and refresh this thread constantly!! Good luck to all!

Criminal Minds is literally my life. Derek and Penelope have the best relationship, and everything about Reid is just amazing!

Fellow SOA-watcher, hello! I saw way too many spoilers by accident though. I think I stopped mid-season three. I don’t even know what to do now! American Horror Story is too horror for me. The plots always sound so hauntingly good, but I don’t have the gene in me to tolerate the scariness. I’m totally in love with Wes Anderson’s quirkiness and how much the shots in his movies all look like they could be paintings.

After my first episode of SOA I was getting confused because there were so many characters and names flying around so I googled the cast and clicked on their wiki page and literally spoiled the whole show for me because it said the death date of a few of the characters. But I continued to watch to see how those characters meet their fate lol. AHS is more shocking than scary if you ask me but that also depends on the seasons that you’re watching because they’re all so different and well written
@blooberries Oh my goodness I miss her so much! She was my absolute favorite, along with Abby. Bishop is definitely growing on me though.

Hi everyone! I was actually trying to find out if anyone knew the exact date we would hear back from Barnard about ED, but I saw this conversation and wanted to join!! I’m from Western Massachusetts, and my goal is to major in Russian/Eastern European Studies if I don’t get distracted by all the other things I’m interested in. 
Uhh…outside of school I work at this super cool store that sells crystals and ~new age~ stuff, and I am a costumer and props designer for theatre productions at my school. And of course, I love the X Files as y’all can see from my screen name.

This thread gets me so so excited, and it also makes me realize how out of the loop I am with TV shows hahaha. Right now, I am binge watching Daria and I’m pretty sure it has become my favorite show. I love the sarcasm and wittiness, and I laugh so much. Also, OITNB. It is just way too good.
@BlueMoon6793 As far as favorites are concerned, my favorite band is Brand New, closely followed by the National. Lately, I have been feeling nostalgic, so I have been listening a lot to Venezuelan music (where I spent a huge chunk of my upbringing) and also to old Shakira songs in Spanish. What about you? I am always looking for new bands to listen to. Oh, and I love Morrisey!!
I am hoping that we get the e-mail sooner that I am expecting, because I created in my mind this idea that it should be sent in the 15th, but I hope it is much sooner than that. Do you all think they are going to send an e-mail?
@xfiles4life for a bit, I also considered majoring in Russian and I love seeing other people who are interested in it. I actually wrote a paper on the role of tattoos in the Gulags during the late 1920s and it was fascinating to look at the symbolism and historical context. What about it interests you?
and @xfiles4life ive been trying to figure it out too!! last year it was released on the 11th. i heard that theyre done with first reads right now and are into second reads. then everyone goes to committee which takes 2-3 days and then decisions are sent out shortly after. and they should be done with second reads reeaelly soon!
I was planning on majoring in Anthropology too!!! Along with dance And Scandal is an amazing show!!! And baking, I made 5 new recipes last week for Thanksgiving! I really hope this works out for everyone!!!
